“Prometheus” – Vino bianco

A bet on the “new”: an intense orange wine, “easy” to drink but multifaceted and of great intensity.

Passionate about the wines of the master Josko Gravner, I decided to propose my own alternative to the usual white wine: an intense and multifaceted wine, but “easy” to drink.

Prometheus is the rebellious son who opposes a father who would like him to be standard and simple. But he instead “shows his muscles” and aims to bring the flame of curiosity to those who want to discover a new nuance of the territory.

Average life of the wine: Good multifaceted wine immediately but which certainly hides great surprises after even a medium-long refinement.

Info and pairings

Color: between golden yellow and orange yellow

Bouquet: intense and mineral, inviting, with hints of candied fruit, lime honey and flowers.

Taste: intense, with a light acidic streak that gives freshness and persistence. Infinite wine in the mouth with marked sensations of fruit and delicate tannins that give this wine balance and cleanliness.

Pairings: the perfect pairing is certainly the one with blue cheeses and fatty fish, such as salmon and tuna. It does not disdain “feathered” game such as duck, pigeon and quail. Also excellent as a meditation wine, to be sipped pleasantly after dinner.
