The story behind the wine …: the Favorita has traveled a long way to reach the sweet sands of Roero. It had left Spain to transit to France and then land in Sardinia. From here he moved to Tuscany and Liguria to finally land in Piedmont.
Wine that, in the period dominated by the great noble families in Europe, had a resounding success!
… except then getting lost in the coming years due to its sensitive nature to vine diseases and cold temperatures. Today it risks disappearing definitively due to the serious disease called “golden flavescence”.
Bajaj’s strongly believe in this wine which, from the beginning, has been one of the best seller wines of the company for its rarity and pleasantness.
