ROERO DAYS 2019 – 31th March, 1st of April – Palazzo Re Enzo, BOLOGNA

SUNDAY, MARCH 31

10.30 am – 7.30 pm: Opening of the tasting room of the 60 producers

11 am: Tasting workshop Ten years of Roero Arneis – 2007-2016

12 noon: Presentation “Earth, vines and wine in the history and culture of the Roero” with Edmondo Bonelli (naturalist), Andrea Dani (sommelier)

1pm: Tasting workshop Fifteen years of Roero and Roero Riserva – 1999-2013

3.00 pm: 2013 Italian native Reds tasting workshop compared

5.00 pm: 2015 Italian autochthonous Bianchi tasting workshop compared

MONDAY 1st APRIL

10.30 am – 6.30 pm: Opening of the tasting room of the 60 producers

11 am: Tasting workshop Ten years of Roero Arneis – 2007-2016

12.30 pm: tasting workshop The Roero Docg white and red in vertical – 8 tastings dedicated to the Professionals of the sector

2.00 pm: Presentation “The paths of the cru of Roero: wine tourism on foot and by bicycle”, in collaboration with the Ecomuseo delle Rocche del Roero

2.30 pm: White and red tasting Roero DOCG vertical tasting workshop – 9 tastings dedicated to professionals in the sector

4.30 pm: 2015 Italian autochthonous Bianchi tasting workshop compared

On both days will be present the photographic exhibition “Roero” by Carlo Avataneo, an exciting journey to discover the landscapes of wine, the fortresses, the trees, the typical elements of the landscape, the castles, the work, the traditions and the cellars of our territory.

They were invited to give presentations and tasting meetings:

Edmondo Bonelli (geologist), Dario Cappelloni (Essential guide to Italian wines), Giuseppe Carrus (Gambero Rosso), Daniele Cernilli (Doctor Wine), Andrea Dani (Italian Sommelier Association), Gianni Fabrizio (Wines of Italy), Fabio Giavedoni (Slow Wine), Vittorio Manganelli (food and wine critic), Paolo Zaccaria (Wines of Roero).

All the laboratories, which provide for the tasting of at least 6 wines by reservation on the Consortium website, are followed by gastronomic tastings proposed by Michelin-starred chef Davide Palluda.
