A wine born out of love

In 2021, the only sparkling wine produced by our winery was born: Berenike.

It’s a Metodo Classico Rosé made from 100% Barbera grapes, aged 20 months on the lees.

Yes, yes, I can already see you… “Who needed a ROSÉ sparkling wine made from BARBERA???”
Honestly, probably no one. But Berenike is the sparkling wine you didn’t know you wanted!
Fruit, flowers, and the unmistakable freshness of Barbera.
Extra Brut dosage, because overly sweet and cloying bubbles aren’t my thing.

It started as an experiment.
Today, it’s a certainty. And after the success of the first edition, we’re doing it again this year!

And then, this is a special wine.
I dedicated it to the young lady in the photo, who has been sharing joys and sorrows with me for over 7 years… and sometimes even helps me out!

I wish everyone to meet a “Veronica” in their life.
