…we’re doing the final tastings of the 2020 vintages before bottling them and preparing them for a period of rest, longer or shorter depending on the wine.

Why do we bottle so late, you may ask?

Because wine takes its time, which is often rushed for commercial reasons.
“The wine, when it’s ready, tells you itself” – says Josko Gravner.

What are the wines of the 2020 vintage like?

Delicate, fresh, and mineral for the whites; refined, pleasant, and elegant for the reds.
We’ve also noticed, across different varieties, some common aromas that we can attribute to what’s known as the “vintage effect.”

Now all that’s left is to wait for the wine… to tell us when it’s ready to be enjoyed!
