3 types of wine to impress your love on Valentine’s Day

Once upon a time, they said: “Say it with a flower”… but why not say it with a wine!?

For all of you who, like us, love wine, what better way to show your feelings than by tasting some “special” wines on the most romantic evening of the year?

Here are the 3 types of wine I recommend to make your evening unforgettable:

MACERATED WHITE WINE. This type of wine is controversial: you either love it or hate it. I personally love it because it’s a unique take on a classic white wine. It has an alluring color, intense aromas, and gustatory complexity. Despite its current trendiness, it’s still unknown to the general public. If you want to impress him/her, opt for this style!

AGED RED WINE. Here, you can’t go wrong. Aromatic power, pleasantness, and great structure to support important dishes but, why not, even chocolatey desserts! However, be careful: don’t underestimate the grape variety and vintage. If too young, some wines might be less enjoyable.

WINE FROM DRIED GRAPES. For me, this is the “sexiest” wine type of all: amber color, sweet and evolved aromas, long-lasting taste, and full flavor. If you’re taking your “special someone” to dinner, this wine will literally melt her heart!

That said, choose the wine you like the most and celebrate this occasion, which, though commercial, is another opportunity to taste something out of the ordinary!
